Two-Measure Recital Warmup
Brightclef Studio. A two-measure warmup in C major at quarter = 84, written as a grand staff. The right hand plays a C major triad and then steps D–E–F over a whole-note C in the left hand; the second measure answers with a G major triad and steps F–E–D over a whole-note G. It is the same sample score that ships inside the app.

your minutes.
Choose one section, hear each hand, slow the tempo and loop it. The app keeps your place so tomorrow starts where today ended.
| Section | Measures | What to practise |
|---|---|---|
| Measure 1 — tonic | m. 1 | Place the C–E–G triad in the right hand, then step D–E–F while the left hand holds the whole-note C. Aim for an even quarter-note pulse before adding the metronome. |
| Measure 2 — dominant answer | m. 2 | The G–B–D triad sits a fourth higher and the steps come back down F–E–D. Practise the hand shift from the first triad to the second with the left hand alone, then together. |
| Both measures | mm. 1–2 | Loop the pair at a comfortable tempo and bring it up towards quarter = 84. The left-hand whole notes are the anchor; keep them sounding for the full bar. |
