Pre-launch legal placeholder
Privacy, in plain language.
This page records the product posture being built. It is not the final Privacy Policy and has not been approved by counsel.
What Brightclef is designed to handle
Account and sign-in details, imported source files, derived notation and previews, corrections, practice progress, support messages, and coarse product events may be processed to provide the service. The exact production processor list will be published before launch.
Private by default
Imports are intended to be access-controlled and non-indexed. Uploading a source does not create a public page, authorize sharing, or place it in a public catalog. Public or family sharing requires a separate product action and rights decision.
Model improvement
Whether and how uploads, corrections, or resulting notation may support model improvement is unresolved. Before launch, the owner and counsel must choose the eligible rights lanes, consent or opt-out design, processor access, retention, provenance, withdrawal terms, and subscriber differences. This placeholder does not grant Brightclef training rights or promise that uploads will or will not be used.
Sources and derived copies
Creating a transcription can require temporary and derived copies such as normalized audio, image pages, notation, previews, and playback data. Final retention periods, deletion propagation, legal holds, and backup treatment remain to be specified before commercial launch.
Your choices
- Keep an import private and remove it from your library.
- Receive the final model-improvement disclosure and controls before any such use is activated.
- Request access, correction, or deletion through the published support process once the mailbox and operating entity exist.
- Do not upload material you are prohibited from using.
Analytics
The implemented analytics adapters are off. If the owner later enables privacy-light measurement, Brightclef’s design excludes score titles, filenames, source URLs, account IDs, score IDs, notes, composers, and recording metadata from analytics events.
Contact
The planned privacy and support address is support@brightclef.com. The mailbox is not active until the owner provisions the domain email service.
